- Find your SMTP host & port — search "[your mail provider] SMTP settings", check your webmail's settings page, or ask your IT/admin. Common ones:
Zoho smtp.zoho.com 465 (SSL) Microsoft 365 smtp.office365.com 587 (TLS) GoDaddy smtpout.secureserver.net 465 (SSL) cPanel / Namecheap / Hostinger mail.yourdomain.com 465 (SSL) - For the password: use your mailbox password. If your provider offers "app passwords" (Zoho, Microsoft 365), generate one and use that instead — it's safer.
- Port 465 = SSL, 587 = TLS. Not sure? Try 587 first, then 465. We pick the right security mode automatically.
- Hit Connect & verify — we test the real connection and tell you exactly what's wrong if it fails (usually: SMTP disabled by admin, or wrong host/port).
